LATIBULE
PRIVACY

What stays on your phone, stays on your phone.

Latibule is a small breathing app. It runs entirely on your iPhone. It does not collect your data, does not show ads, and does not require an account.

In one paragraph: no account, no email, no advertising, no tracking across other apps. The app sends a small number of anonymous event counts (no PII, no IP, no identifiers) so the developer can see which features land. Everything else stays on your device.

WHAT'S STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

That is everything Latibule writes. It is on your phone, encrypted by iOS, and backed up only if you have iCloud Backup turned on for the app.

APPLE HEALTH (OPTIONAL)

If you grant permission when iOS asks, Latibule writes one Mindful Minutes entry to Apple Health for each completed session. This is opt-in: if you decline, the rest of the app works the same.

Apple Health is local to your device. If you have Apple Health iCloud sync on (you can check in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Health), Apple — not Latibule — syncs that data between your devices. Latibule never reads anything from your Health app and cannot see other entries there.

ANONYMOUS USAGE EVENTS

Latibule sends a small number of anonymous event counts to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-respecting analytics service used widely in the Apple developer community. These events tell the developer which features land and which don't — for example, "someone opened the Pro preview page" or "someone completed a session". Nothing else.

The app does not send: your name, your email, your IP address (TelemetryDeck doesn't log IPs), your advertising identifier, your device name, your location, your heart rate, your session content, or any field that could identify you personally. The user identifier transmitted with each event is a SHA-256 hash of (organization namespace + Apple's IDFV); the raw IDFV never leaves the device.

TelemetryDeck does not use cookies and does not track users across other apps or websites. Their privacy policy: telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

WHAT LATIBULE EXPLICITLY DOES NOT DO

NETWORK USE

The breath sessions themselves are fully offline — no server is contacted while you breathe. The app makes outbound requests only in two cases: (1) the anonymous-event POST described above, and (2) when you tap a research citation in a protocol detail screen, an in-app browser opens the paper's DOI link.

CHILDREN

Latibule is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects no information from children specifically.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If anything material about how Latibule handles data changes — for example, if a future version added a feature that needed a server — this page would be updated and the effective date below would change before the new version shipped.
